Today, a series of Educational Seminars & Workshops on the “Operation and Use of the Common Monitoring and Risk Management System for Floods 📝📚, organised by the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia – Thrace (D.A.M.-T)and the General Secretariat of Natural Environment and Water at the Ministry of Environment and Energy, were concluded!! ✅
🎯 The FLOOD SHILED educational seminars & workshops, focused on raising awareness and increasing the engagement of all involved stakeholders in flood prevention and management as well as readiness for flood incidents. 🌊
The seminars’ target groups were mainly municipal and regional employees of Civil Protection Services, 🦺 as well as relevant stakeholders involved in flood management and response, such as volunteer groups, intervention team members (Civil Protection), experts, etc. 🧑🚒
Three (3) series of educational seminars were organised during November 2023.
The 1st Series of Educational Seminars took place on Tuesday, 14th of November, the 2nd on Wednesday,16th of November and the 3rd on Monday, 27th of November.
The 1st and 2nd seminars were conducted in a hybrid format at the Sindos Conference Center , while the 3rd seminar took place online.
